No generic bucket list.
Your research comes first. SELENE plans from the places you chose instead of quietly replacing them with the same popular recommendations.
CULTURE-FIRST TRIP PLANNING
Bring the museums, architecture, listening bars, bookshops and restaurants you already chose. SELENE turns the whole list into realistic days—without replacing your taste or rushing you through it.
PARIS / 3 DAYS / BALANCED
You do not need more recommendations. You need a way to choose.
THE PRODUCT
01—For people who research deeply and refuse to rush.
Import the Google Maps list you already made. Mark what you would hate to miss, choose a pace, and let SELENE shape a trip around proximity, variety and actual capacity. The places that do not fit are never discarded—they remain in Saved Ideas.
ONE CLEAR WORKFLOW
The planner works in the browser. Notion is an editable destination for the finished plan, not a prerequisite.
PARIS / AN ILLUSTRATIVE EDIT
02—Eighteen cultural saves cannot all become three good days. This preview shows what SELENE keeps, what it holds back, and why.
Illustrative plan using real Paris institutions. Always verify opening hours, timed-entry requirements and temporary closures with the original source.
ANTI-FOMO BY DESIGN
03—Your research comes first. SELENE plans from the places you chose instead of quietly replacing them with the same popular recommendations.
Your pace changes the plan. One big museum a day, started fresh in the morning; a second only on Packed days—with optional places kept visibly optional.
Every unscheduled place remains in Saved Ideas. SELENE explains what fits now without treating everything else as a failure.
WHAT SELENE STANDS FOR
S—EOnly the places you saved. No sponsored picks, no generic top tens.
Forty saves become a few good days. You decide what stays.
One main visit a day, a few short stops nearby, and room for a long lunch.
Every day says why its stops belong together.
One neighborhood a day, not across town and back.
A day that feels full, not crowded. Everything else stays saved, with a reason.
FROM SAVED TO POSSIBLE
04—Share one public Google Maps list. SELENE reads the places, removes duplicates and keeps the original links.
Choose the days, pace and true must-dos. The available space becomes visible before the plan is built.
Each day explains why its places belong together. Core, optional and saved-for-later choices remain distinct.
BEFORE YOU START
No. SELENE is a browser-based planning tool. Notion is an optional editable home for Saved Ideas and the resulting itinerary.
Not by default. The first promise is to respect and organize your own research. Additional recommendations should only appear when you ask for them.
The plan has a real capacity based on your days and pace. SELENE keeps the remainder visible in Saved Ideas and uses nearby places as optional backups instead of overfilling each day.
Use a named list that is available to anyone with the link. Google does not allow Starred Places to be shared as a list, and private lists cannot be read.
The current prototype reads and plans the first 100 places from one shared list.
Not yet. SELENE currently uses the saved-place information and geographic structure it can verify. Check opening hours, tickets and closures with the venue before travelling.
Keep your taste.
Lose the overload.
